Typemill 2.7.0: Introducing Content Templates

Typemill says goodbye ... to blank pages! With version 2.7.0 and the new template plugin you can create your own reusable templates or use a growing set of remote templates to create your content page with one click. As usual, download the latest version from the startpage or the bundle pages.

New Template Plugin

The new template plugin simplifies your content creation process dramatically. While copying and pasting content using the raw markdown editor is straightforward, managing websites with hundreds or thousands of pages can be cumbersome this way. The template plugin solves this issue by allowing you to store any page as a template and use it to create new pages quickly.

We also offer a list of readymade templates that you can fetch from our templates server and use out of the box. Currently, the server offers documentation templates from the Good Docs Project, with more templates to come soon!

The template plugin requires a business license. If you don't have one yet, visit our license store to get started and enjoy new features added every month.

HTML Plugin Enhancements

We've enhanced the html-plugin to offer even more flexibility in designing your pages. The plugin now supports tabs and accordions, with plans to add image slideshows next.

New Documentation Bundle

We've released a new bundle specifically for documentation and redesigned some of the existing landing pages. This redesign was accomplished using the html-plugin, showcasing its ability to provide great freedom in page design.
