The UPLOAD Magazin is a well-known German online platform focused on content marketing. It offers a Content Academy, a bi-monthly magazine, eBooks, and online courses. The platform is led by Jan Tissler and Falk Hedemann, two journalists and communication experts.
Magazine and eBooks
UPLOAD publishes a bi-monthly magazine in PDF and ePUB formats, available exclusively to members. The individual articles from each issue are also published on the website for free access a few weeks later.
The UPLOAD website is built with WordPress and integrates various features such as a blog, online shop, learning platform, newsletter, and more. However, producing PDFs and eBooks directly from WordPress is not straightforward.
Choosing Typemill
During the first year, the UPLOAD team used an external WordPress-based SaaS-service to generate their magazine and eBooks. Eventually, they decided to switch to Typemill.
