Wendeware AG is a spin-off from the Fraunhofer ITWM in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Founded in March 2019, Wendeware AG offers an energy management systems that consists of two main components:

  • The AMPERIX® Energy Manager, which controls energy devices like battery storage and photovoltaic systems.
  • The AMPERIX® Portal myPowerGrid, an online platform that provides real-time energy monitoring and analytics.

The system was developed by the Green by IT group within the High Performance Computing division at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics.
